Moving In

Thank you for choosing to live at Sunchase.  We are pleased to have you as a resident and hope you are comfortable in your new home.  To make your move-in as smooth as possible there are several points that should be remembered:

Keys:

The keys to your apartment will be available at 12:00 pm on the commencement date of your lease.  In order to acquire keys, you will need to come to the Leasing office located at 1941 Sunchase  Drive, Harrisonburg, Va.  22801.  A Marketing Associate will assist you in completing your move-in paperwork.  Before you can receive your keys, the first month’s pro-rated rent, security deposit, the restoration fee, the application fee, and any other balance must be paid in full.  If you are unsure of what you will owe when you move in please contact a Marketing Associate at using our contact us form.

Rent: 

If you are not planning to move in on the date your lease beings, your rent is still due.  Rent checks may be mailed to 1941 Sunchase Drive, Harrisonburg, Va.  22801.  Checks should be made payable to Sunchase Apartments.  Please be sure to indicate the apartment # with bedroom # on the note section of the check. 

Utilities: 

You or one of your roommates will need to contact Harrisonburg Electric Commission at (540)434-5361 and have the service set up to begin the day your lease begins.  James Madison University has a program to aid in the payment of the deposit for JMU students.  You can check out the UDAP (University Deposit Assistance Program) at usdap.jmu.edu.

Parking Sticker:

You will need to register your vehicle when you arrive at Sunchase and obtain your parking sticker.  Please be sure to bring your drivers license and a valid vehicle registration.

Monday Thru Friday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday - 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Sunday - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
